Youth In Government Club

"Home of the 2011 Michigan Youth Governor, Pete Shahin!"

Youth in Government allows students to get involved in government related activities. Members travel to Lansing in the spring where they simulate all the functions of state government. Before attending the simulation, students write legislation in small groups and then work to get their ideas made into "laws" in Lansing. Youth in Government also runs the school voting drive and participates in other local political activities. This group is nonpartisan and is a great club for students curious about how government works.
