10. Congratulations to the Update staff and Charger Yearbook staff on their MIPA journalism awards! The yearbook received a silver award and the newspaper and website each received a Spartan award, the highest honor for a publication. The following students won individual awards for their work:
Speaker 1 I SADD SAVE and Karma are trying to educate Dow High in regards to Violence and bullying this week, but I don’t really get the cyber bullying?
Speaker 2 I know it has to do with one person who may torment, threaten, humiliate, harass, embarrass another person using the internet, phones, or interactive games.  It usually is not a onetime communication.  Anyone who experiences this, needs to let an adult know and document the occurrence.  Even if the person does it anonymously, they can be caught.
Speaker 2 Good to know!   I’d much rather spread good news than trying to make anyone feel bad!!

11. Varsity Soccer – don’t forget to stop by and pick up your goodie bags in student services.
